EXHIBITION: The 50+ Show

The 50+ Show will next take place at the Glasgow SECC on 11-12 November 2015 and then at London Olympia’s National Hall on 13-14 July 2016.

The 50+ Show is designed to appeal to the interests of its many visitors, and through 2015 is being re-focused on four key topics: Hobbies, Health, Crafts and Travel.

What’s At The Show?

The 50+ Show Health Zone covers the following topics: Beating cancer; curing back pain; good mental health; sharp vision; better hearing; slimming and weight loss; living with diabetes; getting a good night’s sleep; heart health; alleviating arthritis; improving memory and alertness; all-round wellness; and health tourism (including dentistry, cosmetic and elective surgery).

The 50+ Show Travel Zone covers the following areas: Group travel; special interests; budget travel; luxury travel; days out; cruising; adventure and activity travel; short breaks; long-haul options; European adventures; city breaks; escorted tours; and solo travelling.

The 50+ Show Craft Zone covers the following popular crafts: Sewing and dress-making; cross-stitch; cookery and baking; cake decorating; knitting; drawing and sketching; flower arrangement; card-making.

The 50+ Show Hobbies Zone covers the following activities: Reading; gardening; walking; computers; music; theatre; motoring; puzzles and quizzes; food and drink; and volunteering, as well as finance and money; nutrition; photography; cinema; DIY; genealogy; dancing; history and antiques.

The 50+ Show was also shortlisted as the ‘Best Consumer Show’ at the Exhibition News Awards  in 2012.
